How to accept cryptocurrency in New Zealand?

If you are looking to make it so your business can accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency as a payment option, you have three ways of doing so.

  1. You can create a cryptocurrency wallet for your business and allow customers to directly transfer to said wallet, perhaps via a QR code at your till or counter.
  2. Customers can use a crypto card such as the TenX, where they use their pre-loaded card containing crypto on your standard payment processor, and the crypto is instantly coverted to NZD on payment via the TenX card
  3. You can set up a payment processing system that allows users to pay in crypto, where you enable the payment processor to instantly convert their crypto into NZD apon transaciton. An example of this would be Coingate.com
